Motorcycle Sport Touring Association TriSTAR Rally.
Of course, riding is the highlight of coming to Sparta. Within a mile of the Alleghany Inn, our host hotel, the twisties begin and never end. Nearby riding attractions include the Back of the Dragon between Maron NC and Tazewell VA, the Blue Ridge Parkway accessed from either end of Sparta, Burkes Garden VA, and Shady Valley, gateway to the Snake. For people interested in ADV riding, there will be GPS Tracks available for three excellent ADV rides. You can either pick from one of the Road or ADV routes that are provided or simply explore the area. You won’t be disappointed!
