Community

Thank you for visiting the OzarksBiker Community.
The new Biker Chat for Bikers, brought to you by a Biker.

If you’ve had your fill of being one of Facebook’s cash cows and ready to be part of a group that gets to enjoy social media the way it used to be, then you’re in the right place. OzarksBiker Community Chat is just getting started, but with your help it will grow. We don’t have a mobile app, but that can change as it grows.

Please keep in mind that this is brand-spanking-new for OzarksBiker.com. You may run into bugs that I haven’t even found, let alone am working on. That being said, let me know if you run into any problems or would like to give me any feedback. You can use the Contact link to drop me an email, or you can send message in Clubhouse.

Sarah and I love to ride. In 2023, I started this website because I was tired of trying to find Motorcycle Events on Facebook. There’s just no good way, so OzarksBiker.com was born.

Fast Forward to June 6th, 2024. My Facebook account was SUSPENDED! My account not only has 15 years of memories, but is also tied to a motorcycle group I started over 13 years ago called Let’s Ride 417, another group I more recently started called Ride the Ozarks, as well as 2 Facebook Business Pages I had, and other groups that I was a Moderator in. I used all of these together as part of my business plan to promote this website. All of which I no longer have access to thanks to a vulnerability that Facebook has left open for way too long. To make it worse, Facebook provides NO METHOD TO RECOVER what I and the thousands of others like me have been locked out of.

The more I researched how to try to get my account unsuspended, the more I learned about Facebook and what I believe is their complete disrespect for their users. If you use Facebook, don’t kid yourself into believing you are their customer. Make no mistake about. In my opinion, you are nothing more than a cash cow for them to mine data from to sell to their advertising and other customers.

That’s when I decided it was time for an alternative. That’s why I’m proud to announce that OzarksBiker.com now hosts Community. An alternative to Facebook, for Bikers, brought to you by a Biker.
